Nagging Can Cost You

Anchor Scripture

Proverbs 27:15–16 (MSG)

15 A nagging spouse is like the drip, drip, drip of a leaky faucet; 16 You can’t turn it off, and you can’t get away from it.

Child of God, listen to me as a father as I give you wisdom. Let me lend you what the Spirit taught me. “You can’t stop with prayers what your nagging character brought into your life.” “It is from the same snake you get the antidote to bring healing from its bite.”

Don’t expect that what you brought upon yourself through nagging can be healed through prayers. It is still the same you that will heal yourself of the disease you brought through your nagging.

This is not only for sisters but also for brothers too. Have you asked yourself why you nag?

"A quarrelsome wife is as annoying as constant dripping on a rainy day. Stopping her complaints is like trying to stop the wind or trying to hold something with greased hands."

- Proverbs 27:15–16 (NLT)

Don’t call for people to join you in an all-night prayer for 21 days over what your nagging brought. Just stop nagging, and your home or relationship will be at peace.

People easily avoid a nagging person. So, before you complain about people leaving you, ask yourself this question: Do I chase them away by myself? Be wise.

Prayer

Oh help me, Spirit of God, to put things right in my life.
