Thank Him For Your Daily Bread

Anchor Scripture

Matthew 6:9–11 (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

A lot of believers do not know the difference between what the Lord Jesus taught and living in present truth. Many do not know the difference, and many do not know the tide has changed. This is why they still go about asking him for things that are not real.

When he taught his disciples how to pray, he never told them to repeat word for word what he taught them, but what he gave them was A FORMATION ON HOW TO PRAY. But what do we have today?

We see the church still praying the same way in 2025. He taught them in verse 11 to ask God for their daily bread this day. But the New Testament believer is not supposed to be asking God for his daily bread because this was one of the reasons he died.

How many of you parents will rejoice to see your kids ask you for food daily? You should know it is one of your responsibilities to provide for them. If you, being evil, can think this way, what about your heavenly Father? What are we to do?

Instead of asking him for your daily bread, thank him today and every other day for providing and supplying your daily bread. Hallelujah.

Prayer

Lord, I am grateful for your word. I like the way you teach me and open my eyes to the truth, and for this, I say thank you. Amen.
