John 16:7–11 (KJV)
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Someone once asked: who was Jesus's close friend while on earth? And people began to give answers based on what they felt or read from the scripture, like some said John the Apostle, others said Peter, and another said Lazarus because he was always going there, but I disagree.
As good as those answers sound, and you could even score a mark if it was in your exam, I believe that as you study the book of John and see how much the Lord committed to talking to his disciples about THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, then you will know that he had a deep connection with him.
The Holy Spirit was the Lord Jesus's close friend while on earth because it was by his inspiration he taught and by his power and might he healed the sick, cast out devils, and raised the dead.
Anyone who has the capacity to supply you all these should be very close to you. What about you?
Sweet Holy Spirit, I admire your ministry in my life, but I pray that you make yourself more real to me daily. Amen.

Proverbs 13:11 (MSG)

I watched one of the documentaries on a TV station, and it was about a mother who was late for work, and her one-year-old baby was crying for her to carry her, but she was in a hurry and running late. But then she made up her mind to carry her baby for a few minutes before stepping out. And when she did, the baby defecated on her, and she just went “oooh” but quickly carried her to her room and helped clean her up, and she went to her own room and changed before going out.

We live in the last days, and as such, we should be extremely careful of the way we live and the things we allow amongst ourselves. The Lord is coming back for a church that is focused. A focused church is the dream of our Jesus.

This message is not for us to start pointing fingers at people in the house of God and start avoiding them, but it is to awaken God's people that some things are possible in the house of God.
