The Place of Praying For Others

Anchor Scripture

Matthew 5:44 (NLT)

But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!

It is time we all stop this stingy Christianity that many of us are practising. It is time to start practising true Christianity. What do I mean by this?

When was the last time you prayed for people? When was the last time you interceded for others you don't know? If you only pray for the people you know, why do you think you are different from the heathens?

You are not like your heavenly Father if this is what you think Christianity is all about. A lot of us only focus on us only. This is not life. You are not walking in grace if this is your life because grace is liberal. Your heavenly Father gives rain to all, both the wicked and the good. He gives the sun to both the wicked and the good, so we are to be like him in attitude.

Remember people in your prayers. Let the Holy Spirit use your lips to intercede before the Father for nations, families, communities, people, etc. By doing so, you make the Father happy.

Hallelujah.

Prayer

Hallelujah, thank you Father for this truth, and I yield myself as a vessel for the upliftment of others, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
