Anchor Scripture
Acts 20:35 (KJV)
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
To support is to help. In ministry, you will find leaders who will want to support or help you because they love you, or those who will want to support or help you so you will in turn help them.
Run away from leaders who have the mindset that the reason I am following this man is so I can get help or support from him, because the day you stop, they will leave the work.
Child of God, no man can fully support your vision without God. Leaders who are following you because of what they will get are wolves. They don't know the Lord.
I know someone who turned his back on me and the ministry simply because he couldn't get the help or support he wanted at that time from me, and I was glad it happened because it helped me to know who he really was. He went out and started saying all manner of evil things against me and the ministry, and many who listened to him and believed it never knew what happened, and I am not ready to explain because heaven will reveal it with time.

You are my only source of help, and my trust is in you, and I thank you, for I know you won't fail me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
