Bringing Up A Servant Delicately

Anchor Scripture

Proverbs 29:21 (KJV)

He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.

I have taught you that one of the currencies of life is a good relationship. Another is a good name. Money is the lowest form of currency, and that is the one that is very popular.

How do you treat the people God brings your way? Someone is treating the help in his house just like a maid, not knowing that that person is going to be the one to help your kids when you are long gone.

Some believers are very wicked. They act out what they watch on TV. Some are following in the footsteps of their parents or guardians or what they heard from someone who modelled them. Our theme scripture says it this way: If you delicately bring up a servant from a child, after a while, you shall have him or her as a son. This means the person will make the progression from being your servant to becoming your son.

The Hebrew word used for “delicately” is the word panaq, and it means to enervate someone or something. And the word enervate means to make (someone) feel drained of energy or vitality. This means that there are people who will live with you, and in your training them to become someone in the future, they will drain your energy because you will talk and talk and talk, but God is saying that tomorrow they will turn out to become your sons. Be encouraged.

Prayer

Hallelujah, I am grateful for your word, and I thank you for the courage it has given me this day to keep my fire burning. Amen.
