Colossians 3:23 (AMPC)
Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,
My grandmother of blessed memory used to say this while she was still with us: any errand you run simply because you were reprimanded or shouted at is not coming from your heart and is not usually accepted, for you never did it with all of your heart.
Little did I know that what she said was scriptural until I discovered this verse of the scripture from the letter of Paul the Apostle. So, my grandma never knew she was quoting Paul by her statement. Do you know what this kind of service is called? It is called COERCED SERVICE.
What is it, you may ask? To coerce is to persuade (an unwilling person) to do something by using force or threats. Bring it to the church and your service to God. Any service you render in the house of God, but if you were only persuaded to do it because you never wanted to, it is a coerced service, and God does not receive such service because it is not coming from your heart.
This is the same with giving, worship, attending meetings, fasting, etc. So long as it is not from your heart, then know it will come with no reward. Coerced service is a sin before the Lord. It is offering a strange fire before the Lord, and it must stop. Be guided.
Thank you, Father, for this your truth to me this day, and because it is a light unto my path, it has liberated me to offer services and sacrifices that will only be accepted by God because it is coming from my heart. Amen.
"Indolence wants it all and gets nothing; the energetic have something to show for their lives."

Why do some believers think that by following the way of the scripture people will maltreat them? Any believer still thinking like this is still operating in the flesh.

It is time for us as a church and the body of Christ to wake up and start taking advantage of the In-Christ realities we have in Him. It is time we wake up and say no to the wrong teachings and messages that are circulating in the body of Christ coming from the

I grew up in a family that loves fresh food. My dad hates leftover food, and by this I mean we hate to have plenty of leftover food for the next day. We cook almost every day because he told us of the importance of eating freshly made food. We also love to eat hot food
